It was almost two years ago that I first reviewed The Gluten Free Bar on my blog. Since then, they have added three new bars for a total of six varieties. I was thrilled when I received a box of bars to sample and review.
The new varieties include:

Over the past few years I have been gradually switching over to ground turkey from ground beef. We still eat ground beef on occasion, especially for burgers, but when I make tacos, lasagna or the like, I use ground turkey. Jennie-O’s Lean Ground Turkey is easy to find in our local grocery store and is [...]
I have been watching The Biggest Loser for years. I love watching the transformations that happen on the show. People who thought that they were hopeless, stuck and destined to be miserable get to the root of their issues and come out on the other side armed with tools to live a healthy life.
With the New Year right around the corner, I figured it was a good time for this post. As many of you know, I have suffered on and off with anorexia for many years. I believe that I am in a better place in my recovery now than I have ever been before. I may [...]

Sunday mornings are spent browsing blogs and Facebook as I drink my first cup of coffee and begin to wake up. This past Sunday I happened across Jill’s post about the “i am enough project”. This post really hit home with me. Why? Part of the reason I have been struggling on and off for [...]
I was offered a unique opportunity to see Spirit of the Marathon II on June 12, 2013, but was unable to make it due to a prior commitment. I was bummed because I really enjoyed the first Spirit of the Marathon movie. I asked a fellow MIT coach (Chris Kelley) if he would be interested [...]
It can be hard to stay motivated. Motivation is necessary for many aspects of our daily lives from faithfully following the gluten-free diet to staying fit. We are lucky to have some great resources right at our fingertips these days with our smartphones. I have been experimenting with the Motorola Razr HD and will share [...]
