Are you sitting down?\u00a0 Are you ready?\u00a0 I tried the new gluten-free Rice Krispies<\/a>!\u00a0 Yes, they do \u201csnap, crackle & pop\u201d just like the Rice Krispies we know & love!\u00a0 Hallelulah!\u00a0 I received 2 boxes to sample yesterday and tore right into the first box.\u00a0 I am saving the second box to make gluten-free Rice Krispies Treats in the very near future.\u00a0 I\u2019ll make sure to update you on how those are once I sample them.<\/p>\n

While it has been a long time since I have had the original version of Rice Krispies, these tasted just like I remembered them tasting!\u00a0 Kudos to Kellogg\u2019s<\/a> for recognizing the need for gluten-free products in the market place!\u00a0 Jon asked for a bowl the following morning.\u00a0 He poured the milk on and there was the familiar \u201cSnap, Crackle, Pop\u201d rising up from the bowl.\u00a0 He sat down and took his first bite.\u00a0 The words out of his mouth were \u201cThese are awful!\u201d\u00a0 I started to giggle.\u00a0 This is coming from the boy who is a sugarholic, so don\u2019t freak out yet.\u00a0\u00a0 I told him that the beauty of this cereal was the low sugar, only 1 gram per serving!\u00a0 He was not amused.\u00a0 I grabbed the bag of sugar and sprinkled a teaspoon or so over his bowl.\u00a0 He mixed it in and took another bite and was satisfied, \u201cMuch better!\u201d\u00a0 I love to top my Rice Krispies with fresh fruit like strawberries, blueberries & bananas.\u00a0 Natural sugars that make a great pairing for a healthy breakfast.<\/p>\n
