width:450px; height:80px\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>Today is a very exciting day for a friend of mine.&#160; Beth, featured <a href=\"http:\/\/www.glutenfreeislife.com\/?p=1594\" target=\"_blank\">here as a gluten-free marathon runner<\/a>, is competing today in her first <a href=\"http:\/\/ironmanlouisville.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Ironman in Louisville, KY<\/a>.&#160; I can\u2019t even begin to tell you all how excited I am for Beth.&#160; I have know Beth since high school and we reconnected a couple of years back.&#160; In case you aren\u2019t familiar with the Ironman, here is what the event entails:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2.4 mile swim<\/li>\n<li>112 mile bike<\/li>\n<li>26.2 mile run<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Yes, that is right, a marathon after the other 2 events.&#160; As if the first 2 aren\u2019t taxing enough, right?&#160; I bow down to those that complete the Ironman.&#160; Perhaps I can see if Beth would like to do a follow-up to share how she fueled before, during &amp; after this event.&#160; GO BETH!<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>I have been working on my disaster in my loft, so I haven\u2019t done much else this weekend.&#160; This is also taper time for my half marathon that is a week from today, so not as much activity scheduled for the week so I have time to get antsy &amp; run like heck next week.&#160; <\/p>\n<h5><u>Meal plan<\/u><\/h5>\n<p>Sunday \u2013 Chipotle \u2013 So, I might be addicted.&#160; Rice has lots of carbs, right?&#160; <\/p>\n<p>Monday \u2013 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.food.com\/recipe\/Bourbon-Chicken-45809\" target=\"_blank\">Bourbon chicken<\/a>, steamed broccoli &amp;
