friends, not perfecting the impossible.<\/p>\n<p>Last year I made the turkey and pies; this year my mom has generously taken that over &amp; will be bringing them to our house.\u00a0 The turkey is from a local farm \u2013 free range &amp; organic.\u00a0 This will be our first year straying from the \u201cButterball\u201d or grocery store turkey.\u00a0 I can\u2019t wait to let you all know how it is!\u00a0 She will also be bringing her homemade pumpkin pies made with fresh pumpkin.\u00a0 I was able to sample the one she brought last month &amp; thought I had died &amp; gone to heaven.\u00a0 Good thing I am starting out Thanksgiving with a 4 mile turkey trot!\u00a0 Want to know the best thing about the race on Turkey day?\u00a0 The finish line swag includes a bottle of wine!\u00a0 Score!<\/p>\n<p>Sunday \u2013 Chipotle (can\u2019t get enough of that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.glutenfreeislife.com\/?p=4029\" target=\"_blank\">brown rice<\/a>!)<\/p>\n<p>Monday \u2013 Pasta with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.glutenfreeislife.com\/?p=1674\" target=\"_blank\">marinutta sauce<\/a>, steamed broccoli &amp; salad<\/p>\n<p>Tuesday \u2013 Homemade burrito bowls and salad<\/p>\n<p>Wednesday\u00a0 &#8211; Burgers, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.glutenfreeislife.com\/?p=2473\" target=\"_blank\">sweet potato puffs<\/a>, sugar snap peas &amp;
