{"id":6885,"date":"2013-11-13T08:30:00","date_gmt":"2013-11-13T13:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.glutenfreeislife.com\/?p=6885"},"modified":"2013-11-13T08:34:32","modified_gmt":"2013-11-13T13:34:32","slug":"review-bake-me-happy-gluten-free-bakery","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.glutenfreeislife.com\/?p=6885","title":{"rendered":"Review: Bake Me Happy Gluten-Free Bakery"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>First, welcome to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=kWBhP0EQ1lA\">Hump Day <\/a>and post #1500 on Gluten-Free is Life! \u00a0I would never have imagined when I started writing my blog 5 years ago that I would still be writing today. \u00a0Thank you for reading daily, weekly or whenever I get around to posting.<\/p>\n<p>When I was growing up I always thought I would move out of Columbus, Ohio and move to someplace more exciting.\u00a0 I am not sure where I thought that might be, just that I <strong><em>knew<\/em><\/strong> that place wouldn\u2019t be Columbus.\u00a0 Well, here I am twenty-eight years after first moving to Columbus in 1985.\u00a0 I did move to Dayton with my mom for a few months, but other than that, I\u2019ve been here. You know what?\u00a0 I can\u2019t think of any other place I would rather be.\u00a0 Sure I complain about the cold, but I am sure I would complain about something wherever I was.<\/p>\n<p>Columbus, the capital and largest city in Ohio, has a lot to offer:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.osu.edu\/\">The Ohio State University<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/bluejackets.nhl.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Columbus Blue Jackets<\/a> Hockey<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thecrew.com\/\">Columbus Crew<\/a> Soccer<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.colszoo.org\/default.aspx\">Columbus Zoo &amp; Aquarium<\/a> \u2013 Home of Jack Hanna<\/li>\n<li>HQ of four corporations in the <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Fortune_500\">US Fortune 500<\/a> \u2013 Nationwide Insurance, L Brands, American Electric Power and Big Lots.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/wendys.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Wendy\u2019s<\/a> HQ<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition to all of those great things, Columbus has some pretty fantastic places to shop and eat gluten-free.\u00a0 Sure, there are the typical chain stores and restaurants, but it is the local shops that really stand out.<\/p>\n<p>One of those places is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bakemehappygf.com\/\">Bake Me Happy Gluten-Free Bakery<\/a>.\u00a0 On top of a super-cute name, the baked goods are first class.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.glutenfreeislife.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/bmh.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none;
