I chose the Cinnamon Raisin Bread & Fudge Brownies to sample. In addition to being gluten-free, these products are also peanut-free, casein & lactose-free.

Cinnamon Raisin Bread – This bread had a great texture and had plenty of raisins in it. The cinnamon taste was perfect – not overwhleming at all. I loved enjoying this bread with a schmear of cream cheese for an afternoon snack.
Fudge Brownies – I have to tell you, I didn’t get more than a bite or 2 of these. Jon loved them and enjoyed adding them to ice cream & topping with Cool Whip and Hershey’s Syrup for a homemade sundae.
You can find French Meadow’s products in these locations. If you are interested in trying out French Meadow’s gluten-free line yourself, you can find a coupon here.

My son and me, November 2000. This is before we were gluten-free/diagnosed Celiac.

Love French Meadow Bakery..the first time I found any of their stuff was at the Contemporary Resort (WDW) in their quick services restaurant-Tempo Grab and Go. Since then I have found them at Whole Foods and online. The Brownies are so yummy!!

I had the brownies at Disney World in November. They were awesome! It was so nice that I could find gf goodies there!
The bread sounds great. I will have to see if I can locate some in my area!
Charlene – Glad you were able to find them at WDW!
Lisa – Wow….that cake sounds great!! I have never seen that before at our store.

I’m gluten sensitive (not celiac) and bought the brownie on impulse at Gaylord Opryland Resort. Pricey ($4.25) but delicious, although I was astounded to see that this 79 gram brownie contained 34 grams of sugar. So I traded in the sleepiness and brain fog that comes with gluten for a hammer-like insulin spike. My fault for not checking the label, but I’ll never understand why food companies feel the need to substitute another bad ingredient for the one they’re leaving out. A little sweetness goes a long way. Was so much sugar really necessary?
