Who likes dried fruit? I do! I can’t keep my hands out of it! Last week I reviewed Peeled Snacks on Celiac-Disease.com. Peeled Snacks are great for on-the-go snacks for school, gym or travel. I love that they come in small, single-serve packs for easy portability and less waste.

I loved the apricots, but then again, they are my favorite dried fruit. All of the fruit that Peeled sent me to review was very fresh. In addition to eating dried fruit right out of the package, I also enjoy it cut up on my salads.

Yesterday My daughter sent me a bag of roasted fava beans salted .I called her immediately to let her know and she was excited for me to open it then, and taste them . They were like rocks, and afraid of breaking my teeth . I closed the bag. There was no info on the package as the best way to prepare or serve it. What I looked up in the computer about fava beans was different ways of preparing which all seemed to be some form of cooking to soften them. What do suggest before I throw them out.
